2 Tourists Getting Married In BsAs

Hello,

My fiance is Canadian and I am American, we are having a wedding at the faena hotel + Universe in puerto madero in March 08. I would like to know if we could actually legally get married in Argentina. If not we plan to marry here then have the celebration and "fake" ceremon at the hotel. I would prefer to actually get married there. I plan to come one month in advance of the wedding to do a language immersion program. The US immigration site says that no 2 turists can get married in Argentina, but i have seen conflicting information on the internet. Does anyone know the answer to this?

Also - if anyone has any comments on the Faena hotel .... id love to hear yourr thoughts. I have stayed there once, but it was in 2005. I have not been since. They have been pretty nice to work with so far.
