Housing in Córdoba - Argentina

My wife and I rode our motorcycles from Seattle to Córdoba this year. Housing has been a bit challenging to get. Landlords ask for landowner guarantor to co-sign rent contracts and proof of employment in Argentina, we have none of those. Does anyone know any place that rents to foreigners? We can pay in advance for the contract if the house and the place we find is right.
