Friends, I have always been very much passionate about Austria- the land of many talents, world class scientists, beautiful nature, traditional culture, liberal values and very interesting language –German.
Since my childhood days I have been very much curious about Austria, its history, language and culture and when grown up with the higher education and contemporary society I have been dreaming a great dream to be there, settle permanently with a job.
I had good training in German language and the traditions of German culture has always been spell-bound me at every stage both at individual and societal levels and apart from that I do have enormous respect for the language and culture of Austria and other German speaking countries including Germany. I had training in German at Goethe Institut, Calcutta, India. Calcutta is one of the very happening place in the world and its only city in the world that produced 5 Noble lauriates (but I wont be surprised if the number cross more than hundred because of its very fertile intellectual traditions and a hub of world’s finest culture. Noble Lauriate world famous writer, novelist, social activist, artist Gunter Grass acknowledged Calcutta as his second home and lots of German, Austrian intellectuals, philosophers, academics, scientists, economists are visiting my home at regular intervals. All the musician in India feel proud to showcase their talents before the audience of Calcutta and renowned musicians and academics are very keen always to deliver their thought and work before the audience of Calcutta. Calcutta is perfectly called the ambassador of Indian culture.
I studied International Relations with specialisation in European Studies and its my conscious choice to know more about Europe and Germany, Austria in particular. German civilisation and culture has always been attracted to me ever since my high-school days and every day such interests growing with unlimited passion of learning about Austria and Germany and thus looking for an opportunity to be there permanently to enjoy the rare environment of the intellectual world and eternal beauty of peaceful society and ecstasy of nature that all attracted me.
Currently I am working with a British International humanitarian agency at India Country head office as Manager-Research and Evaluation and my ambitious mission to work with any agency/organisation, research institutes, academic institutes, UN bodies, international consulting companies.
I would be grateful to all of you if you suggest some ways of how to be there and settle with a job and marriage, I would be grateful to you for any advice for the same.
I am just open to any idea to fulfil my life-long dream to be in Austria forever !!
