Applying for in demand job across Austria

Good morning from Canada!

I am interested in moving to Europe and accepting citizenship from a EU member country. I am a 35 year old electrician (electrical installer) with 15 years of experience.
I recently came across Austria's in demand job list, which includes electricians, and am wondering how I would use that avenue to get and maintain a red-white-red card for five years in order to qualify for citizenship.
I have gone through the checklist and will have no problem accumulating the necessary 55 points.

Do I just go to Austria and find a company willing to hire me? Any tips or advice from people with experience?
