Considering a move

Hi,

I am considering a job offer in Nassau. The job is located at the Western End of the Island. it's early days at the moment but I'd really love some information around the cost of living on the Island (I know its pretty expensive), if a 1500USD housing allowance is enough to get a reasonable apartment?
And ultimately what a reasonable salary would be?
Any help/advise around this certainly appreciated.
