I'm considering moving to Nassau in the following months, together with my wife and baby.
I've read through most of the topics started by people in a similar situation and same issues seem to arise time and time again, out of which safety is my main concern. So, bottom line - is it wise to move to Bahamas with a new family?
People are mentioning rising crime rate, others are saying it's not that bad as long as you're cautious. Can I actually relax there and not obsess about what's happening home while I'm at work or whether my wife and baby will come back from a walk?
From some of the things I've read it seems like you have to be afraid of your shadow, but I just can't imagine all of the people living there terrified.
