Taxes for first timers

If I go to Cable Beach to work in August as expected how much will it cost me in tariffs?
Say I bring 10 suits and other clothes needed. Golf clubs and fishing equipment. Do I only get a one time yearly $600 deduction? If I have $5000 worth of clothes, $1,500 in clubs and $500 in fishing equipment. This is a total of $7000. Theoretically how much will it cost and is there any way around this. I have read a lot of posts and it sounds like i will get spanked. Thanks for your replies.
