Remote worker tax avoidance

Hi, has anyone had experience moving to the Bahamas as a remote worker for purposes of tax avoidance? I do remote software development work and give up about 1/3 of my income even though it is earned abroad. Would a move to the Bahamas make sense? Has anyone made a similar move?
