Hi. We recently purchased a condo on Paradise Island with intentions of working remotely there for the winter months. The apartment is furnished but I have purchased home decor (rugs, lamps, area rugs, patio chairs, etc.), kitchen/bathroom accessories, and home office equipment (compact desks, printers, etc) to ship down from New York (I have a friend there who can receive the items on my behalf. I would like advice on the easiest/most inexpensive way to transport these items from NY to Nassau/Paradise Island (via FedEx, ups, dhl, air freight, as excess baggage on my flight, etc) with the understanding that many of these items (lamps/rugs/patio chairs) aren't standard sized. Also, we have an only child - almost 13 year old daughter- who we would like to be socially active (following covid precautions) while we are there. Any suggestions for friend groups/activities/lessons/etc for her age on PI (or Nassau but we won have a car so we will mainly be relegated to PI). Thanks!
