Moving to Cable Beach

Hello there! Happy to have found this group!
My husband and I are are planning to retire in the Bahamas and are working on a purchase so we can start enjoying now and ease into full time life in a few years. We stumbled across the Goldwynn (which is under construction) and it seems to fit what we had in mind. Our concern is that it is not as far west on the island that most recommend. Would you all consider this area safe? Overall thoughts please and thank you so much!
