I have so many questions and am just starting my deep-dive into info on the Bahamian government website, US Dept. of State website, etc. It's quickly overwhelming. My questions:
(1) Where can I find a comprehensive list (if one exists) of steps to do relative to moving to New Providence Island, Bahamas? I'm concerned about missing something critical and causing a delay in my move date (tentatively set for late July 2022).
(2) What are best ways to organize all necessary steps? (I'm in process of reverse-engineering the steps I can think of that are necessary from time of arrival in the Bahamas backward so that I stay on track time-wise).
(3) I'm moving with my dog and cat. I'll research the requirements; what is important to know about moving pets there?
(4) What do you wish you'd known before you moved to New Providence Island that would have saved you time, money, energy, etc. on the front end or would have caused you do things a little differently?
(5) I have a small business (formally incorporated, I file US tax returns, etc.). What is best way to transition from that business (close it out here?) and segue into and create a business entity in the Bahamas?
