Living part time in Nassau

Without complicating this question would I have issues living in New Providence / Nassau and working for a US company? My role went 100% remote so my wife and I thought about researching and seeing if it was possible to live in Nassau.

I hear about people doing this, but have always wondered how!

I know my US insurance would work in Bahamas for emergency but has anyone used US insurance for general day to day health care?

Of course I will search the forums for these answer.
