I've just received a job offer from the University of the Bahamas, for the Freeport campus.
I really don't know whether I should accept it or not and hope that you can help me decide. I currently have a good job as a professor at a European university and it would be a big step for me to give that up, but on the other hand the adventure appeals to me.
- Does anyone have experience with the University of the Bahamas as an employer?
- What is the cost of living in Freeport for 1 person?
- What would be a sufficient salary in the Bahamas for an expatriate?
Any words of wisdom as I try to figure out if this is what I want to do?
