Visiting Belize for possible relocation

Hello All,

My wife and I are visiting Belize in March and are staying in a beach cottage in Placencia. We hope to tour the coastal regions to look for a future semi-retirement house. I hope to stay employed with fishing and dive guiding and the wife hopes to find a job teaching English to suppliment our retirement funds. We currently live in Alaska and are in desperate need of some serious beach time. We like the look of the Sittee and Mullins river areas. We are looking for raw land to build to suit later. Any inputs and advice would be great. Thanks and look for forward to chating with you.
