Financing

OK, I'm somewhat surprised by watching House Hunters International and the price folks come down ther with to purchase a property. For some reason i guess I thought they were going to borrow money from the local banks. But to my surprise most all sells are done via cash.

That being said and as most of you in N. America know interest rates are very low, but that is for only a primary place here in the US.

So how does one get a loan to buy a place in Belize without the high interest rate there in the banks of Belize???

Perhaps I'm missing something???

I've ben in touch with a realtor and they keep telling me to get a loan without anything attached to it??? OK??? What does that mean? A signature loan??? I just don't know, a bank isn't gonna give you a bunch of cash on a signature loan...

Regards,

Steve
