Couple joining you in Bermuda - help settling in appreciated!

Hi

My husband has just got a job in Bermuda and we'll be moving out at the end of October.

We're reading up as much as we can to make it as smooth and easy a transition as possible...but I'm sure it won't go perfectly!

We'll get accommodation for the first month and then need to sort ourselves out. Any recommendations where to look? Do the areas have a different feel/age group/nightlife? What would you recommend is a sensible commute to work? (I do realise how small the island is! Just wondering whether traffic in rush hour can be a problem!)

Also, I'd be interested to know what you all wish you'd known/planned for before setting out.

Very much looking forward to getting involved with the community soon!
