Anyone interested in expatriating needs to look at this bill. It was advanced by the house secretly, but has not yet been presented in the Senate. This bill will make it almost impossible for U.S. citizens to open bank accounts outside the U.S. It does not restrict the citizen from opening an offshore account, but places such a huge burden on the banks of foreign countries that most of them will not allow U.S. citizens to do so. Already, many offshore banks such as HSBC refuse to open accounts for U.S. citizens. Check out this bill, and contact your representative. These requirements of the offshore banks are hidden in the bill which also extends tax breaks for corporations and wealthy individuals. Just another example of U.S. citizens losing their freedoms. They are trying to stop anyone from taking their money out of the U.S. Is this not a right? Speak up and be heard
