Moving to Rio Grande do Sol

Hi,

I'm interested in moving to a town in Rio Grande do Sol and wanted to ask for suggestions. Ideally, I want to spend some time writing -- about six months -- and would like to move someplace nice, quiet, and small, with internet. I thought Porto Alegre, for instance, might be too big -- I'm looking for simple, small town life.

I would like to keep my living expenses to a minimum, but can spend up to $1000 a month.
