Summer Study Abroad Advice, Please!

Hi!

I will be studying abroad from July to August this summer in Florianopolis. I really want to stay till September and get experience.

I really need advice regarding the language and internship opportunities. I am learning Portuguese right now but I am not fluent. How fluent should I be if I were to apply for internship (I really need experience in the real estate development sector)?

Should I travel to Sao Paulo to look for English speaking internships? All advice is great appreciated!
