Fielding a move to Mogi-Mirim

I live in the US and not scheduled to move anywhere anytime soon however I have been entertaining the idea of working for a Brazilian company with whom I do consulting work from time to time. I'm married with 2 kids and the company is located around Mogi-Mirim. Can anyone comment on schools/community/crime in this area? I'll be in the area towards the end of November so if there are any suggested areas to evaluate, let me know!
