The Serrano region outside of Rio

Having lived in Rio and had a sitio in Novo Friburgo, I know what it's like up there in the cool mountains. However, that was back in the 1980's and things progress. I'd like to get some info on current conditions from any expat in Rio or any expat in living in Terrisopolis, Petropolis or Nova Friburgo or those environs about medical care, public transport, food stores, etc. I really miss that area. Where our sitio was located was called A pequena Suissa because of the steep valleys and mountains. Thanks, Ferney
