New Traveler

Hello Everyone,

I am taking a new journey and venturing out for my first time abroad. I’m planning on moving to Brazil, possible Rio, Sao Paulo or both.

I have never spent any of my time abroad before, so this is a brand new experience. I have a University Degree in Education, and plan to take courses in order to teach English as a Second Language, I’m also on the track of learning Brazilian Portuguese. I’m looking for any and all information on Brazilian life, or what it is like to live in this country as an ex-pat. Also, any additional opportunities there might be in addition to, or instead of Teaching English.

I have a few questions:

What is required to obtain legal working documents in Brazil?

Are there any work abroad, or study abroad programs that you might recommend to make this transition easier?

Is there any general advice that anyone can give to a novice traveler?

Thank you for any and all help. Please feel free to leave me a message here or send me a private message at my email listed below.

Thanks Again,

Tsigili
