delay in completion

I am buying a property through Bulgarian Properties.com. The Plovdiv office received payment five weeks ago and the sale has still not gone through. They tell me that it is 'still with the lawyers'. Is this delay normal or should I start giving them some serious hassle? Thus far they have been extremely helpful but my patience is running out.
