relocating to Bulgaria

We are planning to relocate to Bulgaria permanently and would like to receive more information regarding obtaining Work Permit, Long Stay D Visa and Students Visa. I am a British citizen and my wife and daughter are Indians. We are staying in India.

I am a teacher by profession, my wife worked as a Secretary and we would like to obtain a work permit as a Freelancer. Do we have to apply directly to the Ministry of Labour or through the Embassy in our country.

Is it after obtaining the work permit then we have to apply for the long stay D type visa. Can any one also give us more information regarding the queires one is asked during the time of visa and how long does it take.

My daughter is running on 11 and we will have decided after coming to Bulgaria then we would search for her a school. Does she have to obtain a student visa for that?
