Closing a business down in Bulgaria

Hi, A friend who lives in Bulgaria purchased his house here when it was necessary to have a business in order to buy a house. He then decided to try to earn some cash using the business, and for a short time he made small amounts of cash, but then he had to stop that due to illness. He is having problems in closing the business down, and because it is still registered, he has to pay more taxes for his house, and maintain accounts even though they are blank. Money out and no money in! Has anyone on the forum had to deal with this situation? I would be grateful for any information, and if I could help my friend, that would be wonderful! Many thanks
