We've found a fantastic place to stay. It's perfect for experiencing true Bulgarian life. It's about an hour away from Plovdiv airport, just outside of Chirpan. It's called 'the Goat Shed'. More details can be found on Facebook or Twitter. You can have b&b, evening meals etc. We enjoyed a super meal there last night. It sleeps 2/3 and would be a great base to explore, perhaps house-hunting etc. We had a great time there! She also runs courses if you're looking for a break in this wonderful country.
