Retiring to Bulgaria

I'm Canadian and my husband is British. I do have duel citizenship though.
He bought a house in Bulgaria about 10 years ago. We have been married 2 years and currently live in Canada. I went for the first time to Bulgaria this summer and have fallen in love with the country. We decided we'd like to retire there in about 7 years.
My question is, how hard is it to get Landed Immigrarion status and what is the health care coverage like?
