Recce visit in March

Hi, I've been thinking about moving to Bulgaria for a couple of years now and I think I'm ready and able to take the plunge. I have a broad vision of living near enough to a large town to tap into its facilities when needed and far enough away from one to feel immersed in the countryside. I'll be buying a house with a decent plot and I will try hard to integrate myself and learn the language. Anyway I'm hoping to come over on the 9th March for about a week to drive around and have a look - any advice would be welcome and I do think it would be brilliant to be able to meet up and have a chat with a few people that have experienced the adventure that I'm about to embark upon. Though I understand no two experiences are ever the same!

I'm finding the site useful, so thank you to the site organisers/hosts and I must have looked at thousands of properties on line (some of which are on there two years ago, so thats interesting) and I can't wait to see if the reality of Bulgaria is half as nice as I imagine it to be :-)
