Marriage

Hi,
My partner and I are planning on getting married in Varna, Bulgaria next month on the 28th. She is a Bulgarian national, from Varna and I'm British. We've booked the wedding date but we're finding it hard to get any sort of clarity on what paperwork I need and how and where it should be legalised. I've applied for a certificate of non impediment in the UK and will have that on the 15th of August. From what I understand, this then needs to be translated to Bulgarian with an affidavit, then legalised. What I'm not sure of is whether the registrar in Varna will accept it being legalised in the UK or whether I need to go to the British Embassy in Sofia first. Or can I just send the documents to Sofia and ask for them to be sent to an address in Varna? Any advice would be much appreciated!
