Septic tank

We’ve installed a septic tank into our front garden but now have horrendous fumes coming from our downstairs toilet/washing machine area. It’s not all day, usually early morning / evening times.

I’m getting a little worried as sometimes the smell is horrendous and I feel it’s a little dangerous.

Has anyone else had a similar experience please?

Any advice would be appreciated!
