UK Teaching Qualifications in Canada

I am currently studying for a Design & Technology Degree with Information and Communication Technology and Qualified Teacher Status (what a mouthful). The idea is to emigrate to Canada (possibly BC).

I have a few questions/queries:

1. How will my BSC degree compare to that of the Canadians equivalent.

2. How difficult will it be for me to find a job (i am planning to contact lots of potential employers before i go so as to setup some meetings)

3 And will i have to complete any extra education when i arrive to bring my qualifications upto scratch.
