I am Latvian (Baltic Sea region, EU), married to an Egyptian having a 3 years old baby. The problem is that we have already been searching for 4 years a place for us to settle. I understood after hard trying and long loneliness - arab countries are not exactly the right place for me to live and feel happy. My husband is flexible. Thus, I am desperate to settle at last and thinking a lot about Canada. I have nobody there, but it is an English speaking country - English is the only language we can communicate between ourselves (my native -Latvian, my husband's - Arabic). Can anybody give me an idea about possible places in Canada for those who do not speak French. About life there - my husband is Financial Amalyst/Planner, I have been working in Sales (hospitality industry). We are about to send our papers for Canadian immigration, but... this site and some people' chats about how hard it is there - high taxes, expensive housing, etc. REALLY SCARES ME. I really need your help, please!!! Anybody....
