Medical concerns

Hi everyone.

I hope someone may be able to offer some advice.
I have applied online to emigrate to Canada. I know the waiting list in long so I am prepared to really investigate as much as I can re: skills, savings etc..
My only concern is the health aspect of the points system. I have an Atrial Septal Defect of the heart. I have no problems at all but might do in my later years. I have registered this with an Agency to assist with the application to Canda and they have stated that it would not be a concern as not a chronic or disabling condition. Is this correct? I have heard of people being refused visas for medical conditions such as epilepsy, albeit very severe epilepsy. Any advice, experience of this would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Tony
