Best way to get to Canada

Hi there

My partner and I have been to Canada twice this year and have decided that it would be the perfect place for us to move to and settle. We are both in our 20's, have BA degrees and have steady jobs in local government. We've been looking at the various ways of gaining permanent residency in Canada but aren't sure which route to take. We were going to go down the Skilled Worker Visa route but know that this could take several years to process. So, we've now been thinking about going over on a temporary work permit and applying for permanent residency once we get there. The only thing is, we have a house to sell and in the current UK housing market, that could take a long time to do and I don't fancy managing a house sale from another country! Any advice from people who have been in the same situation would be really helpful.

Thanks
x
