I have dual citizenship with the US and Canada. I need a new perspective on life and I'm going to move to Ontario in the near future. I have two questions that I would deeply appreciate informative answers too!
1. I have a good credit history in the US, but will it the transfer to Canada? How long would it take to establish a credit history in Canada? If I go to a Canadian bank and apply for a car loan will my application be rejected because of my lack of Canadian credit history, or will they be able to look at my US score and base it off that?
2. My second question economic/geographic location. Before I ask the question I'm WELL AWARE that the state of the Ontario economy isn't ideal for new residents or existing ones. I HAVE DONE my research! The reason for wanting to move to this province is it's relatively close to my family in the states. I was thinking about Ottawa, Guelph, Burlington, or London as potential places to live. What's your opinion on those areas if someone is looking to establish a career in retail management or warehousing?
