My husband and I have decided to move to Canada, but the WHERE is a big factor. We love all the reviews and of course beautiful photos all over the internet of BC, and it seems to be the most diverse as far as weather and outdoor adventures.
We are 26 and 28 years old with no children (though we do want to start a family within 5 years or less). We have owned our own businesses since we were 18 years old, so we have no actual degrees or licenses in a special field. When we move, we want to start over. My husband is mechanically inclined and wants to work on boats or airplanes, or perhaps become a local firefighter. I am looking to start a small hobby farm and perhaps start a small pet business. We are looking for a small-town feel where we can easily make friends, but on the outskirts of a larger city with all the amenities we will need for work.
We are outdoorsy, love both the beach and the mountains so we'd like somewhere accessible within a couple hours drive to all sorts of different outdoor adventures. We also love the idea having four actual seasons (we live in Florida where there is hot, hotter, hot and humid, kinda chilly, and then more hot).
Any help would be hugely appreciated!
