Medical Coverage in Canada

My family and I are planning to move to Ontario-Canada from USA this year. Visa, immigration is almost guaranteed because of my job

My kid has a problem with his heart for which he may need surgery 20-30 years later (yes, twenty or thirty years later) BUT needs a checkup every year.

Will this condition be covered by the
1. The private health insurance that I need to purchase for 3 months (for the period that the govt will not give the health card)

2. Will getting a Ontario Health card a problem due to this 'condition'?

3. Will the condition be covered after he gets his health card?
