Age and Express Entry

Hello All!

My family is looking into immigrating to Canada. We have been doing quite a bit of research on Express Entry. We purchased the book, "Moving to Canada". It states, "After age 35, your chances of being accepted into the Express Entry Program decline significantly." My husband and I both turn 35 this year. Is it still worth it to apply? The application process is quite expensive and I don't want to fork out $4K and up if our chances of being accepted are slim.

Up to this point, we though we were well qualified. My husband has an MBA with 10 years experience in the banking industry and while I am a stay at home mom, I do have a bachelor's degree.

Does anyone with experience in this matter care to weigh in? I would greatly appreciate the advice. Thanks in advance!

Nicole
