Country in peril, relocation information needed.

First of all I would like to say that once our assets are liquidated we will be financially OK, but not rich, so we are looking for a place to live that is not Third World in nature, safe, and with reasonable living costs for retirees.

Questions:

1 - How to get away from our banking system, any help on how to keep our hard earned money in our hands, and not under governments control, as now in Canada bank accounts are being seized and frozen on a daily basis?

2 - The one plus would be to find a safe country to live in, where we could also open personal bank accounts, it is coming to life that this may be more difficult than we previously thought, any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated?

3 - Although we have already looked at a few possibilities for properties to buy in La Paz “in the event that that this location could work for us”, we are wondering if it would be much easier to buy a condo than a house, as looking at videos it appears that buying a house has a lot of technical loopholes to jump through, Please note we are not opposed to buying a condo we are just looking for pros and cons, any pointers on this would be greatly appreciated?

4 - We are open to looking at more locations that are outlined below, if you have any locations that could possibly work for us please let us know as we are open to suggestion and are not opposed to look at all of this through an open mind, so if you have any suggestions; we would love to hear about it?

Just to name a few places we have, and are currently looking at.

Honduras
Costa Rica
La Paz Mexico

Although we have only been looking into this for the last few weeks La Paz has been of interest to us, as over the past 35 years we have travelled in the area of 13 to 15 times to Mexico alone but all only on short vacations “ 1 to 2 weeks at a time” so this shows you that we already love Mexico and it’s people! “and we already realize that vacationing there and actually living there are two different things”
We have watched many YouTube videos about La Paz, but it seems like spending long periods of time there may be somewhat of a task, “politically speaking “, It also seems like buying a property may be quite difficult / technical in nature….

We also know that if we were to keep considering La Paz we would have to spend a few months there in order for us to see if this is a good fit for us…

We have also visited some of Asia, and a few countries around the Mediterranean but those locations cannot be considered as living cost would be way too high,
