Hello.we are canadians who recently (2.5 years now) moved to ecuadore we tried to reply to the questions from other canadians on this site but it was not possible ...subject had been closed..if we can help others that have questions please ask away..we will answer honestly..but i have to say do not go to realitors they are crooks just as much as they are in canada they are waiting to sell you a highly inflated priced tiny piece of land here..there are other ways honest good people can help if you want land but stay away from groups that offer tours and have lists of land and will help you come on a exploritory visit ..all crooks.our 50 hectair farm cost us 45.000 ecuadorian price.....these crooks i speak of will sell you 1 or 2 hestairs for 90.000 if not more.any how if you have questions maby i can help.i lived in canada all my life my wife is french and yes we lived in ontario and the Yukon so -50 is nothing new.have a great day every one.
