New Brunswick best for me?

Hi there everyone! I have wanted to move to Canada since I was a kid, and I finally think my dream can become a reality in the next year or two! I am leaning toward New Brunswick, but unsure of which city?? Would New Brunswick even be a good option for me??

I absolutely love Montréal and Quebec City, but I unfortunately do not speak French (and just don't have it in me at this stage of life to learn a new language!), so those are out. Other provinces/ areas that I have thought of are Thunder Bay (or probably any other cities in Ontario!) and anywhere in New Brunswick (but could I live there, speaking only English??).

I will be retired, so employment will not be a concern. Since I will be on a fixed retiree income (decent money, but FAR from wealthy!!), so could not afford a real high cost of living. Not TOO difficult to get to/ far of a flight, as I would still like to visit my family a couple times a year in the US (Pennsylvania and Florida)... So Vancouver and Calgary are likely out due to cost of living and long travel to the U.S. But most importantly, would need to be an area with youth hockey, as my 13 year old son has been playing for 7+ years.

Other provinces/ cities to consider?? Any recommendations on where to consider/ start researching for a move would be SO greatly appreciated!! ??
