I plan to spend 3 to 6 months in the Lake Region of Chile beginning in July, 2016.

Would I have any problem purchasing a used car in say Pucon or Osorno? Or should I buy a car in Santiago before going south? Are the prices generally comparable in the two locations? Thanks.
