Hi,
I am interested in visiting the Lakes Region and possibly staying for a few years. My question is are the chileans there respectful? I have heard a lot of mixed reviews on Chileans in general. I am used to the very respectful people I have met where i live now in the mountains of Panama and those I met in Colombia, and Nicaragua, El Salvador and Nicaragua. All were very humble respectful and not haughty or vulgar people. I have read accounts of girls saying they were told they have "an argentine ass" and other vulgarisms which I hope are isolated incidents or relegated to Santiago but can you be honest are the Chileans as humble and kind as those i mentioned above and as friendly as the Colombians?
