Living and Working in China

As an expat who worked in Beijing for three years, the issue most perplexed me was getting sufficient tax receipts to offset against my personal benefits allowance. Very often, my rental, meal, and transportation tax receipts would add up to only 60% of the allowance amount. What other schemes may I use to get more China tax receipts? I do not want to buy tax receipts from the vendors on the street. Thanks. Chris
