Moving to Medellin this summer

Hi guys!

Norwegian guy here and Im gonna move to Medellin this summer for a year, maybe longer.
I got some questions here and will for ever be greatful for any help on these different matters:

1) What is the medio income for a normal Medellin citizen contra a rich Medellin citizen per month?

2) Where in Medellin do the foreigners tend to rent/ buy a house/ stay for a short or longer term?

3) What company is the most trustworthy when it comes to renting? I would like to rent a place for maximum 1000 US dollars per month

4) Can you please recommend me some privat schools or teachers that give Spanish for Foreigners classes for adults. Im 34

5) How good is the internet connection in Medellin? Im gonna have a home office so Im highly dependent on a really strong line

6) If I have an income higher than US 2000 dollars per month, is that good, very good or incredible good in Medellin?

7) When it comes to renting, are there
places on the web where foreigners rent of each other or housing for foreigners only in Medellin?

8) So is it true that when I make some local Medellin friends and I invite them to my place for a fiesta or dinner. , do I have to pack down my Iphone, Ipad, Mac, hide my Europe clothings and so on, before they arrive in case they will steal from me?

9) Some one suggested or pointed out the importance of dressing down or dressing to different social situations in Medellin because if I dress up too much, I will be a target and very noticeable. Word on the street etc. How important is this?

10) Im looking for a modest hotel in july to stay in while Im walking around in Medellin to find my new home. Which hotels do you recommand?

11) I have read that Medellin is quite the violent city. How visiable is the crime and where in Medellin should I not stay and or not be after dark?

Im so sorry for this overlong message guys and I hope some of you can help me.
Im so happy that I discovered this forum by accident before moving to Medellin!

Have a nice day!

Cheers
