Laundry service

I’m new to this forum and currently in the states. The plan is to move down there with my Colombian born wife sometime in the near future.
We currently own and operate a laundromat in the states. The thought is for when we move to Colombia we could maybe setup a laundry service down there. Not that we would need an extra income, but just to have something to do, stay busy and maybe help out her extended family down there.
We are very aware of the bureaucratic red tip that exists. The question is; is this a viable business from a societal standpoint? It would not be a large coin operated laundromat, but rather two or three large washers and dryers where customers would drop off their laundry.
My wife says maybe, but not too sure. What have been your observations? Thanks everyone.
