be careful in Costa RIca's Lake Arenal Area

I'm interested in moving to Costa Rica the Lake Arenal Area but I had a very bad experience with one of the agencies there. They took my money and they can't be trusted. I was ripped off. Watch out when in the Lake Arenal Area, they have a ripoff report and several other reports of scam so be careful when looking in Costa Rica for property. Lake Arenal Area. Make sure you ask if these people have any complaints filed against them when you consider buying property in Lake Arenal Area. If they admit they have complaints ask if they're settled and how were they settled. I know of at least 2 by these folks and they're not settled. Many scams going on out there so don't believe everything you hear. Do your homework on these folks who say they're selling property there in the Lake Arenal area. Watch out.

Again, don't be taken by a lot of chatter on these exchanges about how they want to help you. They'll help you alright. Right out of your money. Read and check these folks out before you act.

They'll blame the potential buyer and not admit they're scamming you out of your money.

Buyer Beware of one in the Lake Arenal area. These folks use a lot of names so be real careful before you relinquish any money for anythng there.
