Merry Christmas

Feliz Navidad!
Yesterday there were several people in my husband's Facebook asking his friends not to send them any Christmas wishes because this year there was no Christmas for them.
I felt bad that these people were in such a hopeless situation.
Christmas is about Jesus and God's love for us but for those who are going through tough times I want to ask you to please not give up.
We lost our first son when he was a baby, We have dealt with cancer and accidents and unemployment which of course affected our finances.
It's always a joy for us when our children come to Costa Rica to visit us which they do often.
However last month when they were here together, my son who is a professional trainer and nutritionist got upset with his sister about her eating habits. She was very hurt because she has a thyroid problem and even though she exercises its hard for her to lose weight.
She even cried.
Now they are not talking to each other and they say that they will never come here at the same time again.
Now that we are getting older our children are not talking to each other.
This is breaking our hearts.
I didn't even want to put out the Christmas lights but then I reminded myself that I am celebrating Christmas and Jesus birth.
So to those of you who are dealing with sickness and disease and who are facing tough times please don't give up.
Those who have lost their loved ones and who miss them everyday focus on the good times you had together.
I know what is like felling so desperate to the point where you even consider suicide. I've been in that place too!
Someone said once that during the Holidays those who are already happy will feel happier and those who are already sad will feel even worse.
I pray that God will help you all to overcome whatever situation you are gojng through and that He will send people into your lives that will bless you.
Merry Christmas!
