Sticker Shock

Hi Everyone!
Well I've spent my first week living in Atenas--I am so happy and feel I have made the best decision in my life to relocate here. Moving here I was unsure what I should bring and I limted myself to the bare minimum and took the sage advice of the expert expats here on this forum. I was very happy I brought what I did and made good decisions,

But there was a lot of things I had to leave behind and now as I have made a couple of shopping trips to Alajuela I have been hit with major sticker shock when trying to replace them.

How do you buy items from websites like Amazon and Chewy? I know you need to use a package forwarding service--is there a service that you find is the best? How do you give delivery addrress since there are virtally no physical addresses--my address for instance is: "The white house 200 meters North of a local bar/restaurant" lol. It's been quite the challenge trying to give directions to service people trying to find me.

By the way I have discovered a fantastic App called "what 3 words" that has geo-mapped the entire globe down to 10 sq. feet squares and then assigns three words to that exact location, evidently it's what UPS and DHL use to locate delivery adresses--for instance, the front of my house at the top of my driveway is: "rematch.poppies.nitrogen"--if you put those words in the app it is synched with apps like Waze and google maps and ;can navigate you to your exact location--it works brilliantly..

Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
