Education paid by Danish Government

Hi

Not only education is free in Denmark for all (Danish and foreigners), but Danish students receive monthly grants when studying full time (3~4000kr per mth I think).

Now, I heard that UE citizens (maybe any foreigner with a working permit in fact) were also eligible to these government monthly grants if they previously worked for more than 2 years in Denmark.

Is this true? Anyone knows where can I find more information on this? Is it applicable to full or part time master programmes?

Thank you,

yannick
